Maika Loubté is releasing the long-awaited single, Ride My Bike. The cover art and the images in the music video were collected from all around the world through a global campaign on social media. By using #RMB2020, participants shared precious photographs and memories of their lives. Both Maika and her team hope that by looking back at our old photos, we will be reminded of the extraordinary nature of our ordinary lives and stay hopeful despite the situation. Maika's comment on Ride My Bike: " Due to the recent spread of COVID-19 the little things in life, like going out with friends or letting loose in clubs, seem like the thing of the past." Maika said, "With the pandemic feeling everlasting, I believe it is important to remember the feeling of freedom and connection with our surroundings and the external world- much like the feeling I get when I ride my bike around my neighborhood. It motivates and allows me to reflect and look forward to the day where everybody can enjoy singing and dancing together once again."
