"Uruwashii Hajimari" captures the quiet anticipation of stepping into the unknown, embracing unpredictable days and all the uneven, ever-changing parts of yourself along the way.

Following *After All, All Mine*, an album largely centered on introspection and questions directed inward, Mizuki Ohira begins to turn her gaze outward, marking the first step into a new chapter.

Musically, the track also opens up into a lighter, more pop-oriented sound, while retaining Ohira's distinctive character through its unique vocal arrangements and subtle soul and alternative influences.

The track is produced by Sho Ogawa, guitarist of LAGHEADS and a longtime friend of Ohira's who has previously collaborated with her both in the studio and on stage. Engineering is handled by Wataru Kokei.

The cover artwork is based on an original drawing by Mizuki Ohira herself, with design by Tatsuya Koiso.

"Uruwashii Hajimari" is the first single from Ohira's forthcoming EP, due in spring 2027. She will also perform a headline show at Billboard Live YOKOHAMA on October 16.
