Multi-talented rapper and Umeda Cypher member YugaSoda has released his latest EP, Snaps.
Featuring the April 2026 single "I KI O I," this 5-track project captures raw, everyday moments "snapped" directly from his reality condensing his musical "here and now" into one record. Snaps marks a major milestone for YugaSoda, accelerating his momentum as he gears up for his first-ever solo headline show in October 2026.

2012: While attending university in Osaka, he discovered that a weekly cipher was held every Saturday on the Umeda Station footbridge and decided to drop in. From then on, he made weekly trips to Umeda Station for the cipher. 2019: Began fully contributing to Umeda Cypher's tracks starting with their indie album Never Get Old. For his solo career, he released the self-produced EP Chair, handling trackmaking himself and featuring guest artists on every song. 2021: While working as a company employee in Nagoya, he continued his indie music activities with Umeda Cypher and formed the band ''New Bonded'' in Nagoya. Under this moniker, they released the single ''DAY LIGHT''. 2024: Released the EP Barrel Age under the name New Bonded. June 2025: Changed his MC name from ''Cola'' to ''YugaSoda''. April 2026: Released ''I KI O I'', his first single after changing his name. July 2026: Released the EP Snaps. He organizes ''Blew&Flow''-an event themed around pairing his love for beer and music-centered around the craft beer bar ''Lervig / LIBUSHI'' in Bashamichi, Yokohama. October 2026: Scheduled to hold his very first solo live show.
