Artist Profile

  • POLO

    Born in 1990. A rapper hailing from Shikoku-Chuou City, strictly dedicated to boom bap and hard rhyming. Influenced by MC battles, he started freestyling in 2006. While performing live mainly in the Shikoku area, he made his mark through numerous battle appearances and contributions to compilations. In parallel with organizing "Ehime Cypher" and "MADE YIN EHIME," he released the single "MC Battle Royale" (2012), and EPs "MADE YIN POLO" (2019) and "Backdraft" (2022). He stubbornly sticks to multi-syllable rhyme schemes while maintaining a consistent, straight-line lyricism with real backbone. Keeping his distance from the trends and fads of the scene, he continues to sharpen his skills right here in his hometown of Ehime.
