Formed in Tokyo by former HOTEL MEXICO members and vocalist Yuco, tiger bae is a synth-pop band creating a distinctively modern sound. Their track "Distant Calls" is a romantic indie-dance number where a dreamy and melancholic atmosphere meets cool, wistful melodies and lush, feel-good soundscapes that swirl vividly throughout the song. The lyrics center around the theme of "a dream within a dream." The music video was directed by Jakarta-based filmmaker Sebastian Susanto and shot entirely on location.
