The hallway smelled of smoke and stone

The windows rattled in the wind

A crown was lying on the floor

Like nobody would wear it again

You sat beside the empty throne

Your hands were shaking when you spoke

I only heard my name

So I picked up the sword

And ran straight ahead

They came from nowhere
