Fingers dancing across the keys, with a hint of a jazzy touch. It was a town by the sea. "Something strong yet fragile, something faint yet beautiful." Over and over again. Twisted by the passage of time, perhaps even romanticized- to the point where it may no longer match the truth buried deep in my heart. There's likely some self-deception mixed in. This dependence on remembering, it's almost become a habit now. This poem isn't even meant for anyone. Maybe it's a poem that doesn't need to be written down at all. And yet, I selfishly trace the feelings that followed those moments that once were. "At the very least, I'll put them into this poem." A recollection in verse, fading yet still shimmering.
