For my first single, I had my heart decided to sing about the thoughts and feelings that lie at the foundation of an artist named Satone. Spring is a time of new encounters, challenges, and often letting go in exchange. Fate brought this song to the season that would best fulfill the role. The message of this song is, "To be you, and to cherish the place where you can be you". The "you" sung here is a word that carries the hope to be applied into what is most necessary for you, and that those feelings will become clearer with the voice of mine. People, memories, and even feelings that you are not yet aware of. For me, it was a dream and a sound that I once tried to let go of. I have finally returned to "you", the place where my soul belongs to. I want to guide those who listen to this song, just as I was saved by those around me who made me realize that my sound is something special. Our core shines as brightly as the number of times we decide to face ourselves and grab the chance with our strength. There are lyrics in the song that refer to Harlem, New York. This place was the view I saw beyond what I had overcome. Last but not least, "It's all about love and music":)
Satone grew up with a global background, such as living in Texas, USA and studying at international schools. She is trilingual in English, Japanese, and Spanish. She was exposed to Gospel choir in church, which led her to perform in BillBoard Live Osaka and Golden Ribbon Charity Osaka. Later, she spend her time in New York to enhance her vocal and pursued performing at Apollo Theater. After coming back to Japan, she starts her career as a singer with roots in black music starting from Gospel to R&B.
