koe

"koe" is the first vocal release by pianist and composer Yuka Akatsu. Featuring three songs born from a life surrounded by nature, the work is created entirely with piano and voice. Recorded in her own home atelier, "koe"marks the beginning of a new chapter in her musical journey. Inspired by the light, dappled sunlight through the trees, and the quiet presence of nature felt in everyday life, the music captures these moments in sound. The EP features "light song" and "komorebi song," built around humming and piano, as well as "In This Beautiful World,"the only song featuring lyrics. The voices and piano gently intertwine in a quiet space, softly portraying the landscapes of everyday life and the beauty of this world.
