"Salty Donut" was born from the memory of a day when I simply couldn't hold back my tears. The donut was supposed to taste sweet, yet somehow it felt salty. I realized later that it wasn't the flavor that had changed - it was my emotions mixing into that moment.
You don't always need grand words to be saved. Sometimes, just having someone sit quietly beside you is enough for a fragile heart to begin piecing itself back together. I tried to sing about that quiet kindness as honestly and simply as possible.
This song doesn't reject weakness. The tears, the pauses, the nights when you felt stuck - they all deserve to exist just as they are.
