A beautiful theme song of "Monet's Pond", a tourist destination in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture was born. The pond is visited by 400,000 people a year. The composer was TSUMUZI, a composer-violinist from Gifu City. He specializes in five-beat songs with a distinctive rhythm, and is gaining popularity under the name of "Mr. Asymmetrical Meter". This song, which was composed at the request of an acquaintance involved in sightseeing in Seki City, also develops a deep melody that says, "I was conscious of the clear and transparent feeling of the water in the pond," on a comfortable five-beat rythm. The tone of Vibraphone & Glass Harp, which is reminiscent of the reflection of light from the surface of the water, also emphasizes the elegance of the song. The song leaves the listener with the impression that the world view of "light painter" Claude Monet is completely drawn in music. It was well received at the press release held at Seki City Hall prior to its release, and we are looking forward to its future development such as utilization for tourism PR videos.
