Maya - 2nd EP "IMAKOKO" out on October 17, 2025
Six months after his debut EP "Tohikon", Maya returns with his second EP "IMAKOKO".
This project reflects the journey of leaving his hometown, facing new encounters and experiences in Tokyo, and pausing to reconnect with his original passion. The result is a 6-track collection that captures Maya's present moment as an artist.
The title track "IMAKOKO" looks back on the path walked so far - the choices, the doubts, and the lingering uncertainty that never fully fades. By embracing that vulnerability and turning it into sound, Maya affirms his determination to move forward.
With honest lyrics and a powerful flow, the EP resonates with anyone who has struggled with expectations, fears, or the weight of their own dreams. It is a record about standing at the crossroads of past and future, and choosing to keep going.
An accompanying music video for "IMAKOKO" will be released the following week, visually expanding the themes of the EP and bringing its world to life.

"Born in 2000, from Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture. I began my music activities in 2021, inspired by the songs of MOROHA. I actively participate in MC battles and have won multiple competitions. In my music, I express my feelings vividly and straightforwardly. I will release my first single, 'Togabito no Uta', in 2024."
