GUNJO MIMEI The deep indigo sky just before dawn. GUNJO MIMEI is a Japanese girls rock band consisting of four members. They transform unrequited feelings, sleepless nights, and hidden pain into delicate yet powerful music. Whispered vocals in a low register, deeply resonant bass and drums, and two guitars moving between silence and roaring distortion define their sound. Drawing on the beauty and shadows of Japanese visual rock, their songs speak to the loneliness, love, and emotional struggles of modern life.
