Since restarting his career as a HIPHOP writer in 2020, PAPA-KIMG has focused on music reviews while also releasing three volumes of the curated album series SoundSourcePool, a compilation of tracks carefully selected through his own discerning ear.
His latest endeavor is the Pass The Beat Project, a project where beats he has DIGG'd are "passed" to rappers and transformed into fully realized songs.
For the seventh installment of the series, PAPA-KIMG passed a beat from 5. R. D., a promising 15-year-old beatmaker from Fujisawa, to Kid Klown, a rapper based in Kawasaki, resulting in a unique creative chemistry.
A beat is passed.
An artist breathes life into it.
A song is born.

    2005年頃からHIPHOPフリーペーパー「最前HIPHOP」でライターとしてのキャリアをスタートさせる。山のように届くデモCDを汲まなくチェックし、気になる曲を4～5曲レビューしていくというスタイルで数年間活動を続ける。その後一定の活動休止期間を経て、 2020年頃からSNSを使用しレビューを書く事に大きな可能性を感じ、X(旧Twitter)とInstagramでHIPHOPライターとしての活動を再開。月間約15本前後レビューを投稿中。 ライター活動を開始した当時から「SoundSourcePool」（音源の貯蔵庫）の館長と名乗り、アンダーグラウンドシーンの音源収集には一切の妥協なく日々没頭している。 個人の動きと並行して2023年からHIPHOPウェブサイト「SLUM HOODSTAR」のライターとしての活動も開始する。 また最近では自身の審美眼でセレクトした曲で作られたアルバム「SoundSourcePool」シリーズのリリースや、自らDIGGしたビートをラッパーにPassして曲をリリースするプロジェクト「Pass The Beat Ploject」も進行中
