The debut mixtape from YOWAME, a rap-driven unit rooted in the streets of Tokyo.
The title track Irasshaimase Shinjuku ("Welcome to Shinjuku") dives into the neon-soaked underbelly of one of the world's most notorious nightlife districts - hosts, runaways, shifting red-light laws - a city where human darkness and euphoria collide. The track captures the chaos and contradictions of that world with raw honesty and a sharp sense of humor.
The B-side, Kotoba de Kutte ku ("Living Off Words"), was born from A World Only Bandmen Know, a YouTube channel run by Takuro Hirai. It's a testament to those who chose the riskiest path - making a living through expression alone.

While many artists project non-daily fantasies and beautified youth into their music, YOWAME thoroughly focuses their camera on the "gritty reality that lies on the extension of daily life." Their primary battleground is YouTube, and while they humbly position themselves as a "New Face," the sharpness of their words relentlessly pierces the core of the scene.
