I walk between their rhymes

Cracks in the ground spell silent words

Echoes speak what can’t be heard

Footsteps blend with evening tide

Stories drift where dreams collide

Every shadow tells a part

Of how I learned to see the art

Pavement poetry, soft and slow

Whispers only dreamers know

Each beat a verse, each light a rhyme

Healing souls in passing time

Distant trains in minor keys

Compose the night’s soft melodies

Rain reflects the city’s glow

Writing lines I’ll never show

I don’t need a page to write —

The street itself becomes my poem

And every light a comma

In this quiet sentence of the night

Pavement poetry, I walk alone

Yet each step feels like home

Every beat becomes my name

And nothing sounds the same

The night exhales, and so do I
