  • Keyaki Narusawa

    Musician/organizer. Born in Tokyo. Has been a professional musician for 15 years. After traveling to West Africa in 2009, he began traveling the streets performing in the UK, France, Germany, and Australia, and from 2012 to 2019, he performed in Belgium. He has performed at various festivals and events in Europe, including Paris Fashion Week, as the first official Japanese performer at London's street performance mecca "Sound Bank," and as an invited artist at an official government event in Dubai. He returned to Japan in 2019 and moved his base to Hyuga City, Miyazaki Prefecture, and expanded his activities to include the Bamboo Project, which solves local issues through music, and local music festivals and markets, focusing on the themes of "nature, environmental protection, education, sustainability, and peace," attracting attention from all over Japan. 2024: Winner of the Hiroshima Award in the Music Category 2022: Special feature on Narusawa Keyaki in JNN Kyushu/Okinawa documentary "Move" (broadcast March 13th) 2022: Lyrics and composition for "Connecting the Future," the theme song for the Miyazaki Prefectural Board of Education's "Lifelong Learning Practice Research Group"
