The Holidays
The Holidays A laid-back, slice-of-life trio from Japan. The Holidays are ishidama (guitar/vocals), Satorex (bass/vocals), and Katsumi Usui (drums). We started out in 2024 as "Long Vacations" and changed our name to The Holidays in 2025. We don't sing about big statements. Our songs are about ordinary, everyday life. A live house owner once told us our music makes them feel a quiet sense of impermanence. If you like D.W. Nicols, we think you'll feel at home with us. On August 16, 2026, we released our 13-track full-length album Iroiro na Riyu de Bokura wa ("For Various Reasons, We..."). We celebrated with a one-man release show at Hitachinaka Heaven's the same day. We hope our music can be there on a lazy afternoon, or on your way home.
