"Lower Depths" was written as the theme song for a Japanese production of Maxim Gorky's "The Lower Depths." Arranger/Sound Mixer ueken@mac.com brings his background in traditional Japanese drumming to the fore with the track's resounding and striking rhythm section. Lyrics are in English and Japanese.

Lynne Hobday A UK singer-songwriter living in Japan Known for writing English lyrics for many Japanese artists including L'Arc-en-Ciel, Hyde, True, Fhana, AI, Abingdon Boys School, Soft Ballet, The Gospellers, Fantastic Plastic Machine, minus and TM Revolution, etc. Her best known set of lyrics is for the iconic Play Station Game "ICO." Has also written original Japanese lyrics for the official Sailor Moon Musicals, Mary's Blood and various character songs for Prince of Tennis, etc. She is currently writing an original musical "Dusty Princess."
