The second single from the leader project "ROOTs," led by drummer and composer Mizuki Yamamoto. The title track, "Sprint (feat. Yusuke Shima)," features renowned trumpeter Yusuke Shima, who is active both in Japan and internationally, and explores a more refined jazz fusion sound.

  • Mizuki Yamamoto

    A drummer and composer from Okayama Prefecture who is currently active mainly in Tokyo. He has roots in jazz, pop, and Latin. In 2022, he started the leader project "ROOTs" to perform his own original songs, and has been releasing music and performing live under the name "Mizuki Yamamoto ROOTs".
