When it’s fluffy, soft, and light

Now add sifted flour and soda too

Whisk it gently, don’t overdo

Mix until no powder’s in sight

Cover bowl, let it rest just right

For twenty minutes, let it stay

Then it’s time to start the play

Add some water, whisk it slow

Heat your pan on medium low

Brush with oil, thin and neat

Warm it well before the heat

Place the pan on damp cloth, wait

Then pour batter, don’t be late

Pour a bit smaller than the pan

Watch it spread, that’s part of the plan

Cover quick, let it steam

Two and a half minutes — keep it clean

Flip it slow, cook one more

One minute on the other shore

Once it’s done, place on a sheet

Cover tight so it won’t lose heat

When the pancakes have cooled down

Spread sweet bean paste all around

Wrap it tight with cling wrap neat
