This Ghibli song is a cover of "Hitoribocchi wa Yameta," the theme song from Isao Takahata's 1999 film "My Neighbors the Yamadas," originally written, composed, and sung by Akiko Yano.
The jacket features original artwork by Shiho Sato, a painter who works on backgrounds for Studio Ghibli films, and Shinichiro Yamada, an animator who previously worked at Ghibli.
