Side Road

I've lived a life that feels like stepping off the main street onto a side path.
Sometimes, I wonder what my life would have been like if I had stayed on that main road.
But then I realize-this path I'm on is not just some side street. It's filled with warmth and meaning.

I wrote this song one evening after finishing work, as I walked down the familiar hill.
The chorus melody is actually something I first composed when I was 16. After all these years, I finally found the right place for it.
