Hibikilla's new single "LUNA" is a Gal Tune with a nice and tranquil atmosphere that is contrary to his energy.

The riddim track, produced by Mr. Japlyn, a trackmaker/producer from Shonan area, is based on the Afrobeats rhythm, a dance music that is currently rocking the world with Nigerian artists such as Burna Boy and Wizkid. The syncopated rhythms are accompanied by a melancholy chord progression that has been used frequently in recent J-POP music, which is a unique musical characteristic of "LUNA" that could only be produced in Tokyo.

Hibikilla sometimes sings in a whispery husky voice and sometimes in a falsetto, instead of shouting, over the riddim. His voice has an unexpected quality that seems to reflect the changing circumstances of the post-Corona era, and casts a soft shadow like summer moonlight on the listener's mental landscape.

This work was also released as an NFT single on Hibikilla's own Music NFT label, WAGMI Music, with four different artworks by manga artist Shumpei Dozono, and his eagerness to adopt new technology is also due to the flexibility he has acquired during his four-year blank period.

Despite the lyrical worldview, a new classic of Japanese dancehall is born here, full of hope, as if the moon on the sine restored its brilliance.
