Introducing "Rise from the Ashes ~Sana Ring in~", the official entrance theme for former WBC Women's Atomweight Silver Champion, Sana Hazuki.
Commissioned directly by the champion herself, I met with her in person to hear her story. Her life and raw fighting spirit were packed to the absolute limit into an original anthem, which has now been specially arranged for her ring walk.
The theme is "Awakening of Instinct."
An extreme, stadium-shaking heavy bass combined with a dark soundscape harboring a quiet fury fuels her sharpened fighting spirit as she heads to the ring. Her phoenix-like fighting style-turning past pain into a "weapon" and rising from the ashes time and time again-is captured through sharp, piercing lyrics delivered in a mix of English and Japanese.
"I am the storm. I am the fire."
True to these words, this track is the ultimate cool, fiercely aggressive anthem that shatters limits and heralds the triumphant arrival of the queen who dominates the ring.
