『Pau Hana Nap（パウ・ハナ・ナップ）』は、音楽心理学と睡眠科学の最新研究を総動員して設計された、午後のショートスリープ（仮眠）の効果を最大化するためのシチュエーション・ハワイアンアルバムです。
「最初の5分でいかに素早く深いリラックス状態へ導くか」、そして「最後の3分でいかに脳をスッキリと幸福感で満たして覚醒させるか」。この2つの課題をクリアするため、全10曲を通じてテンポ（BPM）と音響デザインを科学的にコントロールしています。
アルバム前半（Track 1〜5）は、心拍数の低下を促すBPM 65から55へのスローダウンを設計。伝統的なハワイアン・スラックキーギターやウクレレの優しい揺らぎに、波の音や1/fゆらぎの風の音といった環境音をブレンドしました。言語野を刺激しないインストゥルメンタルとハミング中心の構成が、あなたの脳波をアルファ波からシータ波へと導き、短時間でディープな休息をもたらします。
