This song is a mixture of real band sound and electronic sound like 5 Seconds Of Summer. Innocent vocal, thick electric guitar, filthy bass and heavy drums with beautiful piano phrases. The melody is kind of J-ROCK but truly real English lyrics(Our friend from Minnesota helped us). I'd say this is a new style of Japanese music which aims for the world. Of course our fans love this song :D

    Catch Me Yesterday is a Emo/ Alternative rock band. Kazuya Tamura on vocal is a professional composer and writes songs for a lot of musicians and idols. Yusuke Ota on drums used to belong to indigo la End. The two formed the band in 2017 and then Hiroya Nakane on bass, who belonged to musiquo musiqua (Kazuya also belonged to this band), joined in 2018. CMY plays many anime cover songs. That led CMY to play at a huge event in Saudi Arabia and they had over 40 gigs there. Their first performance in Saudi was Anime Village, which was held in Jeddah in the summer of 2022. After that they visited Riyadh twice and performed for two weeks at Anime Town in the winter of 2022. CMY also performed in the Philippines. They performed in Baguio and Manila. They got interviewed by two Philippines radio in 2023. In 2024 CMY performed at a festival held in Abu Dhabi in UAE because their song was elected as promotional song of the festival. CMY will be on tour to perform in Eastern Europe in August 2025. Now CMY is getting recognition not only in Japan but also overseas!
