"PLACENTA" features virtual singer Kasane Teto and MC MOGURA, acclaimed for his appearance on the High School RAP Championship. This up-tempo track combines sharp, satirical lyrics about modern society with MOGURA's distinctively cute, bratty boyish vocals and Teto's rapid-fire flow. Bathed in the blue light of midnight screens, the duo transforms daily anxieties into pure energy over a dynamic beat produced by SHUNSUKE NISHIGAYA. Merging authentic hip-hop prowess with vocaloid culture, this track breaks new ground for the internet generation.
Artist Profile
MC MOGURA
Born in 2000 and raised in Sapporo, Hokkaido, this rising rapper first came into the spotlight at age 16 on the "BAZOOKA!!! High School RAP Championship," quickly making a name for himself across numerous MC battles. Following his university graduation, he launched into music production full-scale. Producing his own tracks, his music video for "Meyasubako (feat. FUNK, DOTAMA)" has surpassed 100,000 views on YouTube. From composing the opening theme and sound logos for the NHK educational program i&AI, to pioneering new ground with a "Rapper x Vocaloid" concept featuring Kasane Teto, he continuously brings a breath of fresh air to the scene with his sharp, genre-defying vision.
