• Hitomi Shimatani

  Born in Hiroshima Prefecture. Since her debut in July 1999, she has released a steady stream of quality works. Her ''singing ability'' that transcends genres and allows her to sing various types of music, as well as her highly transparent ''singing voice'', have been well received, and she has produced many hit songs such as "The Maiden with the Flaxen Hair," "Perseus," "Papillon," "YUME Biyori" and "Papillon. YUME Biyori" and many other big hit songs. She has also won numerous awards, including the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen for four consecutive years and the Newcomer of the Year Award at the National Cable Awards.   幼稚園では鼓笛隊、 小学校は管楽器（トロンボーンとユーフォニウム）そして小学校4年生でラップを始め、 中学校3年の時にお年玉でテクニクスのターンテーブル2台とベスタックスのミキサーを購入し、 高校時代はMPC2000XLというドラムマシーンで打ち込みとDJ、 サーフィンに明け暮れる。 レジェンドサーファーを父に持つ僕は、 大学一年生の時に全国学生サーフィン大会（フレッシュマンの部）で学生チャンピオンに。 20歳でボブ・マーリーをカバーしラップする人生初のバンドを結成。 その後2001年9.11 まさにあの時あの瞬間、 大学のゼミ合宿でNYにいた僕は友人と貿易センタービルにのぼろうとしていて、 目の前で爆風を受ける。 セントラル・パークに逃げて震え上がっていた僕らは体育座りをしていたところがちょうどジョンレノンの暗殺された場所、 ボブ・マーリーが倒れた場所だった。 命からがらNYから帰ってきた僕は、 Rize, The BonezのJesseの紹介でShenと出会い、 日米合作の世界の平和を歌うユニットDef Techを結成。
