Chancy Cruise

"The beginning of a Chancy Cruise."

When I wrote the lyrics and melody for this song, I was excited by the music made by various countries, regions, and people, and I was researching the reasons why that music was created, and I thought it was like crossing the ocean.

"I want to cross the ocean, too, with the music of my favorite people."

This idea was the beginning of my Chancy Cruise.

From a spring, through a river, to the sea.

I think ideas are actually like springs, where things that are deep inside of you connect and come out.

Eventually, I was able to make music that was like gazing at the horizon and bathing in sunlight, on a boat with people I respect. I'm happy.
