  • Takasaki Mao

    Started playing the violin at the age of four. She graduated from Osaka College of Music and performed at the graduation concert. While she was in school, she received a scholarship from the university to study at the German National Weimar Franz Liszt Conservatory and the Folkwang University of the Arts (Germany). She has performed violins with Midori Kugoda, Hisako Tsuji, Tomomasa Sou, Yoko Kitaura, Ulrich Beets, and Jacek Klimkiewicz; Mayumi Hirasaki, baroque violin; Studied under Mr. She won the 2nd place in the 3rd All Japan Art Competition. She won first place in the 3rd qualia music festival audition college student division. She is the first member of the Super Kids Orchestra. From 2014 to 2018 she belongs to the German Braunschweig State Orchestra.
