Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Iwata City, Shizuoka Prefecture's official mascot "Shippei," comes the commemorative song "Let's All Sing and Laugh Together ~Shippei 10th Anniversary Support Song."
This track, produced through crowdfunding in 2023, is now available for digital release.
True to its title, it's an energetic song designed to "get everyone singing, laughing, and feeling uplifted."
Its catchy, upbeat melody carries lyrics brimming with Shippei's charm and love for Iwata, brightening the hearts of all who hear it. From children to adults, you'll find yourself humming along and swaying to the beat!
Vocals are handled by Takehiko Kita, a native of Iwata City and member of the a cappella group INSPi, and singer-songwriter Yohsuke Ishida, originally from Shizuoka City. The lineup features Shizuoka connections: female singer Theta θ from Iwata City on backing vocals, Hideaki Ishikawa from Hamamatsu on guitar, and Daisuke "MAX" Ito from Yaizu City on bass.

Yohsuke Ishida
vocalist/guitarist/songwriter After performing with the bands "Ginyuushijin" and "Ishida Yosuke Trio," he began his solo career in 2001. He performs in a free style that is not bound by venues or lineups, from completely unplugged with just one guitar and no PA to full bands with powerful support members. He has also had many interactions with artists from various genres, and continues to participate in their works and tours to this day. Recently, he has composed and arranged local character theme songs and performed at various events. GCB47 (Gotouchi Chara Band 47), which made its major debut in May 2014, is in charge of guitar, vocals, and songwriting.
