**ELIM "9"**
The endless, sideways-lying 8.
A world that continued without end, turning over on itself like a Möbius strip, pulling us back again and again into the same emotions, the same landscapes, and the same conflicts.
ELIM's first full-length album, **"9,"** is a collection of nine stories documenting the time spent living within that 8, and the path taken to break free from it.
Rooted in hip-hop while incorporating alternative and experimental sounds, the album explores self-reflection, conflict, acceptance, and rebirth.
Drawing inspiration from experiences gained through recent participation in DJ KRUSH's **"TOKYØHUM,"** ELIM uses this work to give shape to emotions that had long remained beyond words.
The title **"9"** does not signify the end of 8.
Rather, it represents the beginning of a new cycle that appears beyond the endless repetition a key that opens the next door.
Everyone carries their own 8.
Habits they cannot escape, memories they cannot forget, mistakes they continue to repeat, and anxieties and conflicts that rise before them time and time again.
**"9"** is a record of the will to keep moving forward within that loop.
For all those who continue to live inside their own 8, yet still strive to take the next step forward.
