日韓5人組ガールズグループ、鮮烈なデビューを飾る
日本と韓国のメンバーで構成される5人組ガールズグループ・POPPITが、デビューデジタルシングル「Snap & Glow」をリリースした。
「Snap & Glow」は、BPM126のNeo Shibuya-kei / Dance-Popをベースに、渋谷の夜景にインスパイアされたネオンサウンドと、J-POPならではのメロディアスなボーカルアレンジを融合させた楽曲。スウィングした4つ打ちキックにシンセブラスのスタブ、ジャジーなコードモジュレーションを組み合わせた重厚なサウンドプロダクションは、国内外のダンスフロアを意識した仕上がりとなっている。
歌詞は「カメラフラッシュの中を歩く夜」「リズムに乗って輝く瞬間」をテーマに、SNS世代の等身大のエネルギーを描写。ルナ（Luna）によるスムースなメインボーカル、シエナ（Sienna）の感情的なプリコーラス、クイン（Quinn）によるキレのあるラップパートが絡み合い、グループとしての多彩な表現力を余すところなく発揮している。
グループ名「POPPIT」には、「弾ける・飛び出す」という意味を込めた。メンバーは花咲陽菜（Hina）、ソ・ユリ（Yuri）、七瀬みおり（Miori）、チェ・ソラ（Sora）、朝比奈るか（Ruka）の5名。それぞれが異なるバックグラウンドと個性を持ちながら、「日常の中の小さな爆発」をコンセプトに等身大の音楽を発信していく。
アメリカ市場を視野に入れたグローバル展開も見据えており、J-POPのメロディアスさとK-POPのグルーヴを融合させたサウンドスタイルで、アジア発の新しいガールズグループとして国際的な注目を集めることが期待される。
