When night falls, our emotions often overflow. There are moments when we are filled with hope and energy, yet there are also times when the fear of tomorrow keeps us awake, making the suffering feel eternal. In those moments, we feel an urge to simply escape from our own world.
I have named these drifting emotions "Yakou" (Night Walk).
The feeling of being crushed by emotion is, in fact, the flip side of being alive.
Some nights, we just aren't okay.
I embraced that reality and composed this song to reflect both sides of the coin: despair and hope.
