    seasunsalt is a solo project by singer-songwriter Mayu Fujita. Based in Tokyo, seasunsalt explores and reconstructs a unique sound that moves fluidly between electronica, R&B, and chillout. Carefully crafted productions are woven together with smooth, intimate melodies, creating a sonic texture that feels cool to the touch yet carries an underlying warmth. With full control over her own track-making, she builds a one-of-a-kind sonic world. Her live performances range from the gentle, atmospheric tones reminiscent of The Album Leaf to the grand, fantastical soundscapes of artists like James Blake. The music video for fact or, released in 2024, received multiple awards at independent film festivals around the world.
