長野県の2ピースEMOバンド7th Jet Balloonが、 キャリア初となる11曲入りFull Album "7th Jet Balloon" をついに完成させ、 東京のDIYレーベルUNGULATESより6月28日にCD / DIGITALでリリースする。 2021年結成。 長野県を拠点にしながら2ピースならではのフットワークを生かし全国各地でライブ活動を展開し、 2023年4月にUNGULATESよりEP "pleasant, sadness, and..."をリリース。 2023年7月にはANXIOUS、2024年2月にはSIGNALS MIDWEST、5月にはTINY MOVING PARTSの来日公演のサポートに抜擢されるなど、国内外から注目を集めている。 1分のオープニングトラック"Let's GO mother fxxer"から幕開けする今作は、 前作でも聞かせていたトゥインクルリフや軽快なビートはそのままに、 ハードコアの影響を感じさせるヘヴィな刻みやシャウトを取り入れることで、 これまで以上にオリジナリティ溢れるサウンドを展開している。 前作でもANORAK!のtomoho maedaをフィーチャーしていた彼らは、 今作でも東京のMIDWEST EMOバンドas a sketch padや、 HARDCOREバンドMARKETのシンガーであるモリシマをフィーチャリングに迎え入れ、 さらに彼らのルーツであるOrigami Angelの大胆なカバーも収録。 英詞メインの楽曲が並ぶ中、 メロウなアルペジオに日本語詞が響くスローナンバー"ナイスロード"や、 シンガロング必至のコーラスが魅力の"Very very SAD. There's an end, so the world is beautiful.
