Kansai-based pianist Midori Doi plays beautiful Chopin with gorgeous technique and grainy, bold rhythms.Born in Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture. After graduating from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, She went to England. After graduating from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, She moved to England, where she spent three years under the tutelage of Maria Curcio, who has nurtured many famous performers, including Martha Argerich. She completed her postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music in England in one year, receiving a diploma from the late Princess Diana of Wales. She received her diploma directly from the late Princess Diana of Wales. Second prize at the All Japan Student Music Competition, West Japan. In France, she auditioned for the Tours Summer Music Academy. Passed the audition for the Tours Summer Music Academy in France and performed in the final concert. Received the Japan Federation of Musicians' Association Award. She has given many recitals in Osaka and Tokyo with a variety of programs. She has performed many recitals in Osaka and Tokyo with a variety of programs, which have been well received. She has also performed concertos, chamber music, contemporary music, and accompaniment. She is also active in a wide range of other activities such as concertos, chamber music, contemporary music, and accompaniment. She also performed in the finale concert of the Nohant Piano Academy in France in 2017, 2006, and 2007. She studied under Kazuko Yasukawa, Maria Curcio, Yves Henri, and Kazuoki Fujii. She is currently a professor at Osaka College of Music.
