Forest in the Mist (Remastered 2025)

Yuria Miyazono

In the dim light of dawn

On wings of white the owl is borne

Leaving the silence of night behind

Is a sign of farewell to it all

And hidden in the mist

The secrets of this catalyst

Feverish was the bond that we made

As your heart fell into disarray

For life is a tangled web

Our dreams mesh together

One tug and it is lost

The eyes of the owl see everything

The stronger we try to tread a path that is righteous

Absurdities arise to blur lines

He waits and waits again

In the mist, his only friend

All alone, unconsoled

A riddle he will pose

And those he draws in close

See the dark within their souls

One tug and all is lost

The eyes of the owl saw everything

You turn from the wood as morning mist descends

"When we wish to live rightly,
how many contradictions will we come to know?"
Originally released in 2018, Forest in the Mist has now returned as a remastered edition -
with greater sonic clarity, renewed depth, and a more refined sense of presence.

The album features 7 vocal tracks and 3 instrumentals, woven with piano, live violin, cello, classical guitar,
and sounds from nature - birdsong, the breath of trees, the hush of the forest.
Its calm, airy textures are especially suited for warm summer days, quiet afternoons, or restful evenings.

This album is my personal attempt to explore the "density" of music and time.
Stillness, solitude, silence, afterglow.
Listening closely.
Turning inward in the pauses between moments.

Just as one single word may sometimes speak more than a hundred,
I wanted to reconsider the possibilities held in each individual sound.

In the flow of trends, this might be a kind of quiet antithesis.
But if this modest work can become a small stone -
and if that stone sends ripples across your heart - I would be truly grateful.
