Fly me in the sky
Let me feel alive
The night is still awake
I’m dry through all the rain
I just need to learn the doubt of life
But ignorance is keeping me sane somehow
It’s gonna be a while to feel like I’m not drowning
When the morning comes I’m not ashamed
How do I feel the days when they’re fading so fast?
I don’t feel bad anymore
I’d look back and I’d smile
I just need to learn the doubt of life
But ignorance is keeping me sane somehow
It’s gonna be a while to feel like I’m not drowning
When the morning comes I’m not ashamed
How do I feel the days when they’re fading so fast?
I spent away too much time moving on
But I don’t mind that I forgot what I came here for
Take the long way home
I grab what weakness has made
The light falls across my shoulders
It’s gonna be a while to feel like I’m not drowning
When the morning comes I’m not ashamed
How do I feel the days when they’re fading so fast?

Long Way Home
Yoshiaki Sato
This song is the second self-produced work, released about half a year after the previous one.
The acoustic sound and harmonies flow through your body like the wind, creating a pleasant sensation.
I deliberately avoided arrangements designed to grab listeners' attention, focusing purely on creating something relaxing.
True to the song's title, I want to take a detour and leisurely trace my memories, reflecting on the journey I've taken so far.
Artist Profile
Yoshiaki Sato
Profile Singer-songwriter based in Sapporo, Hokkaido. From an early age, he was influenced by his parents and became familiar with American pop songs, and started playing the piano at the age of 9. He started playing in a band in high school and spent a period of time devoted to pop punk and loud rock music. Gradually developed his current style of mid-tempo rock and pop music around the time he entered college. He loves nature, and his songs are reminiscent of cool landscapes, such as majestic mountains and the serenity of a body of water. Until 2007, he performed his original songs at live houses in Sapporo and sold over 500 demo CDs. While attracting attention from record company insiders, he met sound producer Soshi Iihama, and in 2009 performed at the Rising Sun Rock Festival, and that same year signed with Yumechika Records, a label affiliated with Hokkaido Television Broadcasting. In July 2014, they released a distribution-only single, Dancefloor, followed by a long period of recharging. In 2024, he broke their 10-year silence and released three singles in a row, followed by the release of their first full-length album, Architectures, in November of the same year through Fabtone Inc. Like all of their previous songs, the album was sound-produced by Soshi Iihama. The number of listeners is rapidly increasing not only in Japan but also in Asia.
