Hi, this is SMIRE.
"Kimi wa Hoshi ni Naru (You Will Become a Star)" was born from a feeling that didn't end in sadness. Losing someone is painful, but love itself doesn't disappear. I wanted to believe that it changes form - becoming a light that grows stronger and reaches farther than before.
The song begins with quiet piano, then gradually rises as if breaking through the night sky. In that expanding melody, I placed a hope that exists beyond tears. Instead of singing "goodbye," I chose to sing "a beginning." I wanted to transform loss into something luminous.
If there is someone whose presence still lives softly in your heart, I hope you will listen. That light is still shining in your sky.
Even while holding grief, we can stand again.
I want my voice to carry that moment of light to you.
