THE STEREOGANG
A rock band from Kōchi, Japan, with an average age of 23. Formed in the summer of 2021 around vocalist Miu who has a deep love for Western rock its members all belong to the light music club at Kōchi University. Drawing inspiration from bands like KISS, Mötley Crüe, Halestorm, and Paramore, the majority of their lyrics are in English. They stay true to a style that doesn't conform to current pop trends authentically powerful and original, yet also precise and nuanced like an American muscle car on stage. Based in Kōchi Prefecture, they are energetically performing throughout Japan. At emergenza Japan 2024, they won both the preliminaries and national final, earning the top prize as well as the German Embassy Award. Their performance at the international finals in Germany earned them a remarkable 3rd place in the world. In recognition of their accomplishments, Kōchi University where the members study or graduated from also honored them with an award.
