odoru hitobeat
Suddenly appearing in VR space, the mysterious clay figurine-like lifeform known as "odoru hitobeat" unleashes their shocking debut single, "Final Song."
Building the sound for this work is K,O, champion of Japan's largest beatmaking competition, "BEAT GRANDPRIX MUSEUM 2022 supported by TuneCore Japan," hosted by OTAIRECORD.
Participating as a ghostwriter, he anchors the core of the track with sharp, multidimensional beats.
Guitar sounds are handled by guitarist Hinode, known for contributing to numerous tracks including the rhythm game "Cytus II".
The intersection of Hinode's unique guitar work and K,O's beats creates an intense chemical reaction that transcends genres and dimensions.
Hinode is also known as the main composer for Pratanallis, whose J-Pop albums consistently chart as top albums in content across countries like Russia, Vietnam, and Romania.
His global musicality is deeply reflected in this work.
The main visual, jacket artwork, and 3D modeling of the dancing figures are handled by bean jam, the elusive handmade artist/3D creator known for creating the 3D avatar "Tsubukuma."
The contrasting sculptural beauty overlays the dark, dance-filled musical world of the dancing figures, creating a unique and vivid visual expression.
Furthermore, this work features the participation of Seiya Noboru, who works as a narrator, voice actor, and performer.
Additionally, voice actress/VTuber Ai Hazumi, active primarily in VRChat, contributes backing vocals and sampled voices, breathing life into the project.
Additionally, virtual creator Kaonashi, who runs the YouTube channel "Tamakata VRC," and nocturnal VTuber Kurotsuki Rito make guest appearances as voice actors, forming a multi-layered expressive world unique to VR culture.
This is not merely a song.
It is a phenomenon where VR, music, archaeology, and narrative intersect.
Are they dancing?
No, that's not the big question.
What matters is
to dance or not to dance.
