Life is beautiful, sure—though a little messy too

Every day I stumble, and think, “Bad luck, is that you?”

Then someone shows up with advice so “bright”

But I end up again with a melting cone at night

Happiness lives deep in our soul (Or near the koi fish bowl?)

Just look deep… inside the fridge, for a lift!

Life makes us free like wind in our hair

But wear a helmet, or fall for a snare!

Each step leads me to the nearest ice cream stand

Each tear is for a cone dropped from my hand

In the dark I find the light… of a bulb that’s bust

That’s life—an adventure of slippery trust!

Happiness lives deep in our heart (Maybe next to the old bread cart)

Just look deep… in your closet, for duck-sized clothes so smart!
