Daybreak

WONT

Two white birds that served the sun

He guided people and was full of love

Had very beautiful feathers

One bird is full of hope, One bird gives a gentle light

People were leaning on it

They understood each other

I thought everything would be fine like this

Should be bright why can't see nothing

A freaking bad feeling

I just defied

It never dawn, fell into darkness

Nevertheless, i just remember

Keep shouting behind the moonlight

Just give me ''Daybreak''

Eventually it became commonplace

許せないやるせない心と

救えない行き場ない思いを

Beautiful feathers turn jet black

Beautiful feathers turn jet black

Dark and deep like the human heart

A clear voice sounds ugly

A clear voice sounds ugly

Like the cry of the sun god Apollo

Hope and light turn into despair and darkness

You are the ones who turned white into black

I was shown the dawn that I didn't want to see

Are you satisfied

Are you satisfied?

I've already given up on everything

Should be bright why can't see nothing

A freaking bad feeling

I just defied

It never dawn, fell into darkness

Nevertheless, i just remember

Keep shouting behind the moonlight

Just give me ''Daybreak''

Two white birds that served the sun

There's no sign of me seeing it now

Even if that's the case, I'll be waiting for the dawn

Even if it's dark and ugly, I'll be the first to cry out

Is this what you wanted?

Just give me, just give me!

WONT-1st Album "KYOUMEI (Resonance)"

WONT's first album KYOUMEI (Resonance) captures the raw impulse and roaring sound the band has been unleashing in live houses, packed into a 10-track loud rock record. Formed just two years ago, the band has been shaking the hearts-and eardrums-of listeners and fellow musicians across Japan with their music. This album reflects their straightforward desire to create moments where the stage and the floor vibrate together in true "kyoumei"-resonance.

Opening the album is "Daybreak," a boldly reconstructed remix of their first single. Its sharp, explosive sound immediately pulls listeners into the world of the record. Track six, "Siren," stands as the album's defining killer tune. The explosive power and tense atmosphere of loud rock collide here, carving WONT's intensity and determination deep into the sound. Written with the live house in mind, the track unleashes overwhelming energy meant to shake the floor.

Closing the album is the 10th track, "Ai no Uta (Love Song)." After the storm of sound that runs throughout the record, this song delivers the band's feelings in a direct and heartfelt way. The layers of sound and emotion built up across the album quietly come together, leaving the meaning of the title KYOUMEI echoing deeply as the record reaches its end.

Created at the two-year mark since the band's formation, KYOUMEI captures the sounds and time WONT has built in live houses so far, while also standing as a milestone pointing toward everything that lies ahead.
