Keisuke Sakamoto, the first-ever double champion in Japan's acoustic guitar competition history, presents his debut full album Uka.
The album features 11 tracks in total, including the title track Uka -winner of the Morris Fingerpicking Day 2025- and New World, which won the Song Award at the same competition the previous year and also took first prize at the Solo Guitar Competition. Alongside these are new pieces such as Isolation and Urban Flow.
Transcending the boundaries of fingerstyle guitar, the album moves seamlessly from dance music-like rhythms to lyrical soundscapes and a solid acoustic edge. A culmination of Sakamoto's artistry and a declaration of a new beginning, this work stands as a true symbol of the "next generation of Fingerstyle guitar."
