Jiko Born March 15, 1987 in Chiba Prefecture. Singer-songwriter Jiko sings "life-sized love and peace" with just a guitar. His gentle yet emotional sense of melody and his sometimes delicate yet powerful singing voice have earned him the catchphrase "dynamite acoustic that will make you cry." He is currently active mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area. His bashful smile and honest singing voice are accelerating his popularity. His path in music began with a band in high school. His first dream was to be a bass player. He performed a three-hour solo concert in an audiovisual room. At that time, he decided that "if I were to bet my life on music, it would be music." After graduating from high school, he began his solo career as a singer-songwriter under the name HIKARU. He spent his days and nights performing on the streets. (Currently ongoing) By chance, he became an apprentice at the temple where his uncle serves as the chief priest, and when he was ordained, he changed his name from "Hikari" to "Jiko". Due to various circumstances, he was excommunicated, but even now, he continues to study the principles and teachings he learned on his own, and casts out guidelines for life in the thoughts he puts into his messages. On July 8, 2017, he released his second single "Tsuyogaru no wa Yamerimashita", and the single "Nounai Sōsei" was selected as the ending theme for the July episode of Fuji TV's "Majo ni Ietai Yoru ~Honestly Sugiru Shinjō~". In December 2017, he released his first full album "Kimi no Mirai"!! On October 27, 2021, he made his major debut with "Shoho Muga"!! The path of Jiko continues. With you.
