Half Century Girl Ao's fourth album.
She was in her 30s when she said she would never sing or play again. Although I was in chorus as a student, I never thought of doing music because I enjoyed appreciating art and watching plays when I became a working adult.
When I knocked on the door of sound in my mid-40s, I had a shocking and fresh encounter with the ability to express myself through music. The door was still closed at that time.
In my 50s, I tried my hand at storytelling, songwriting, and piano arranging by imitation, and as I performed live, the door to sound opened before I knew it! What came into view was my own history, and perhaps my dream that was unconsciously etched into my mind.
The lyrics of each song include flowers and the language of flowers inspired by the song, as well as my own thoughts.
My name is Half century girl Ao who started playing in my 50s. I am a housewife but a lifeless character. My songs are extraordinary songs like musicals. I have a healing harp voice. I sometimes have a bad-girl dusky voice. I am a woman who plays and performs on the keyboard. I am sometimes a KIMONO performer and princess.
