Lost Identity Syndrome

Shuka / Room no.38

You do not have to go far

What you lost is here

Nothing special, just lying near

Passport in my hand, feeling reset inside

Thought crossing gates would change my life that time

But nah, no restart

Wi-Fi and AI cannot fix the heart

Human code runs slow

Food and sleep, that is how it goes

Pretty views, lonely shade

Scrolling seas, I lose my place

Ego search as a map

Still lost after every tap

Updates do not fly, they decide

I did not know, I just stretched the miles

Ramen steam saved my night

Stupid texts, laughing hard

Eyes awake before the alarm

That alone means I made it far

Dreaming pays a tiny prize

Crushing joy like it is nothing, right

Ignore it now, pay it late

Feelings bill with interest

No map to run away

Bad habits cross all states

Heavier than my bag

Is the story on my back

Before you search, bite today

Change is not at gates for sale

Breathing still means the plot

Moves ahead right on the spot

Look down

Not far

Miracles are where you are

Here, this place

The real start is always now

Brand-new clothes, armor shine

Naked hearts waste the time

“I grew up when I roamed”

Where is truth left at home

Stranger streets feel less hard

Fighting here, no applause

Just excuses fill the space

Only stamps fill my case

Check it now, how was today

Did you eat, did you sleep, did you wake

That is enough, mission clear

Friends who laugh save my life

One small touch stops the dive

Maslow said something deep

But before that, are you eating

Warm bed, food tastes right

Laughing dumb through the night

Not far, not abroad

It is here if you miss

Picking that, your self-search

Did not start

If you look, do it here

Runaway questions disappear

Look ahead at your feet

Life digs here every day

Do not search

Live

Decide

Stay

No other way to keep a self

If today’s joy slips your hand

Tomorrow’s dream will never land

Food was good

You slept tight

Someone laughed with you tonight

That alone

Means you lived

Do not go far

Hold what is warm

Drop this, and nowhere

Will feel like home

    Lost Identity Syndrome

    Shuka / Room no.38

A fast-paced 8-beat track capturing the disorientation of modern identity in a hyper-connected world.
From sleepless nights and ego-scrolling loops to warm meals and shared laughter, it explores the tension between digital noise and everyday grounding.
Lost Identity Syndrome asks not where you should go but where you already are.

Artist Profile

  • Shuka / Room no.38

shuka / Room no.38. While centered on ballads and J-pop, I focus not on expressing emotions as they are, but on putting into words the process in which emotions waver, break, and distort. Rather than offering healing or answers, I value leaving untouched areas and ambiguous in-between states exactly as they are. I see music not as something that heightens emotion, but as a rhythm through which thought moves forward. I move across genres such as hip hop, rock, EDM, and K-pop, choosing the form that best fits the expression. Sincerity over clarity. The present moment over completion. These sounds and words are not a story of searching for myself, but a record of being alive here and now. The form of each song is not limited to ballads, EDM, or hip hop. Starting from poetry, I choose only the sounds that are necessary. I value the uniqueness of what only I can write.
