  Beat Bahnhof is an active 2 TONE style SKA band based in Tokyo, Japan. Before forming, AceK and Masaki had introduced the initial concept of 4th Wave SKA a term encompassing the development and discovery of Jamaican old-school, 2 TONE and 3rd Wave within all their sound styles, outfits and cultures. The band was founded in April 2012 by AceK the original singer of ROLLINGS who had been to Europe on tour twice, in 2003 and 2004. Drawing on his fond memories and experiences there came up with the German term Bahnhof means train station. In 2013, their debut CD effort comprised 6 cuts, produced by the bassist akihiro.o. And was self-released and distributed through BEAT BAHN PRODUCTS . The band broke out after supporting Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra at the Tokyo Ska Jamboree 2014 in front of 7,000 people. They backed up Bucket from the legendary NYC act The TOASTERS on a multi city Japan tour as well as an appearance at the NGOSKA Festival in Seoul, Korea. 7inches vinyl release featuring a brand new recording of the classic SKA KILLERS track is also slated after sessions in the studio in Tokyo. The band has the worldwide view also in Asia. Shared the stage with HK ska pioneer THE RED STRIPES at ENDLESS SUMMER HONG KONG INTERNATIONAL REGGAE SKA FESTIVAL 2016 / 2018. Successful Europe Tour 2017 was lined up at THIS IS SKA FESTIVAL 2017 and FEUERWERKS OPEN AIR FESTIVAL. Then they had a support act for THE SKATALITES in Germany. One of the Skinhead Hero Arthur Kay, the band invited him to Japan and had tour as his backing band in 2018. Also in 2024 the band invited legendary English Ska artist Mark Foggo same as Arthur Kay. International Performance (Pre & Post COVID19) 2018 PHILSKA MUSIC FESTIVAL in Manila, Philippines 2019 PUT3SKA Grand Reunion Concert in Manila, Philippines 2019 V ROX FESTIVAL in Vladivostok, Russia 2024 HANGZHOU SKA FESTIVAL #2 in Hangzhou, China 2025 HANGZHOU SKA FESTIVAL #3 in Hangzhou, China This is what AceK told all the members at the beginning when the project was launched: He made a promise that they would be playing at The LONDON INTERNATIONAL SKA FESTIVAL within five years. This had been his dream ever since he first listened to the ska LP compilation SKANKIN'ROUND THE WORLD on UNICORN RECORDS almost 20 years earlier. Masaki also shared the same dream as a fellow ska freak and collector. The dream came true... Finally Beat Bahnhof featured on The LONDON INTERNATIONAL SKA FESTIVAL 2015. Beat Bahnhof continues to push beyond borders, bringing Japanese ska culture to the global stage, They've got the key and the door to the world is open !
